4.1 !

Oh man I'm so stoked they are bringing back ZG and ZA plus it'll drop some nice loot. I am a little concerned though that Cata is shaping up to just be a rehash of things we've all done before. I will not be a little bit surprised when we have to blow through AQ40 again (shudder)

I think the root of it is that Cata needs to wrap up a lot of loose ends and tie together stories so that the next expansion when we have to go to another planet again makes sense. I'm wiling to bet well either get to go to the titans home planet or will go after the big bad himself.

I was reading today a little theory about the old gods and that the planet is just a prison for them. Made me think about all the ley line activity and how whenever the old gods are involved the ley lines get interrupted. I have a theory that the ley lines are the bars on the prison door and that they are breaking them in order to free themselves. It would make sense that the titans used the strongest magic they had to imprison the old gods. I think it was just a side effect that the inhabitants of the planet were able to tap that power.

Just a theory I guess we will hopefully find out as the story progresses.

25's

The guild ran 25 bwd tonight what a joke. Talk about a steamroller. But what's the deal with getting duplicate item drops. That's a fail move by blizz. I kind of miss the Wrath days when 25's actually meant something and were harder and more challenging. It made it fun to get the whole guild together and work on something more challenging. Now 25's are pathetic. On the good side though my boomchicken is finally getting its dps up. I was a constant 15k tonight. Woot!

Raiding

Last night we had a rough raid. Our guild is running 2 10 mans. Call them A and B team. of course the GM is in A team and has stacked his group with mostly veterans and a few new recruits. B team it feals is the leftovers. The ones that used to be on the 25 team that didn't quiet make the cut. I was on the A team but got sent down to B because I'm "A team player" in reality my gear was crap. I don't like running heroics so I had the bare minimum to raid at the time.

Back to last night. We've been running BWD for 5 weeks now. For someone who's a been there for the majority of our kills to ask how to do fricken Maloriak is super annoying to me. Seriously. Have you been asleep since week 1. We do that fricken boss every week and now suddenly you can't recall how to do it.

I don't consider myself a hardcore raider but I show up to raids ready to rock, and I know all the fights. I think that's the bare minimum anyone can do. To show up to a raid that's essentially on farm and not know what the F you are doing is unacceptable.

So eventually we Forest Gumped our way threw it. After the raid chatting in vent a bunch of people went off the handle. Complaining that we either need to be hardcore and get it done or chill and just be casual raid when we have time. I'm leaning more towards hard core. I want these places cleared so we can work on Heroic gear. Very annoying.

Getting Started

So here we go the first post. This blog will be a place for me to share my life and my wow life. Wow or (World of Warcraft) is just a game, but to many people its more then that. Here we'll dive into the culture and the experience. I personally am a wow raider, I play to raid, its one of the best aspects of the game. I do have other things in my life that I'm involved in to though. I own a business, I have a wife, I have a money pit I throw my cash into every night ( my house) and of course I have a dog. So if all that weren't enough now I have a blog to keep up on. Basically I'll be linking articles and commentary about the wow lifestyle, and probably complaining a lot about the raids I'm in.
